Finn Harps assistant manager Paul Hegarty has been hit with a three-game touchline suspension.

Hegarty was sent from the dugout during the recent 2-0 defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic at Finn Park.

When Pat’s were awarded a penalty, from which Mikey Drennan scored the second goal for the Inchicore outfit, Hegarty’s protests at the decision drew the ire of referee Rob Rogers.

The Ballindrait man has now been given a three-game suspension by the FAI’s disciplinary controls unit.

Midfielder Mark Coyle will miss Friday-week’s game against Waterford United having accumulated five yellow cards.
