Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan admits he could be down to the bare bones for the visit of Waterford United on Friday night.
Harps have a number of injury worries, but Horgan’s woes are not help by a raft of suspensions.
Harps had no game last week meaning Mark Coyle’s suspension carries over with Horgan anticipating that he may be without up to four players through suspensions.
The likes of Ciaran Gallagher, Gareth Harkin, Mark Timlin and Harry Ascroft are all out with injuries.
“The biggest disappointment is that we’ll run into suspensions of two weeks into one on Friday night,” Horgan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We’ll be short a number as opposed to them having been split.
“While we had a good run, we played three teams who are in the lower half and we now play three teams in the top half and have ambition of getting to Europe.”
Harps have taken five points from their last three games and their win over UCD in Ballybofey was their first League victory of 2019.
Horgan said: “We need the supporters to back us, but we need them to be patient. We have a lot of young lads out there. They’ll need their confidence up to a high level to get results against sides in the top half.”
