Donegal gearing up for annual Poc Fada

CLG Dhún na nGall and Donegal Camogie are holding the 2019 Poc Fada on Bank Holiday Monday, June 3rd. 

There will be adult and under-16 competitions in both Hurling and Camogie. All entrants are asked to be at O’Donnell Park Letterkenny by 4.30pm to register before travelling to the Poc Fada Course.

Rules and Regulations

Each entrant must bring along a spotter.

Spotters will be assigned to entrants at random.

Proper clothing and footwear suitable for rough, wet boggy  and hilly  terrain must be worn,

Sliotars will be provided,

a 5 Euro Entrant charge for adults.

U16s Free.

Entrants to bring water.

Prize giving and refreshments back in O’Donnell Park after the competition. The winners will go on to represent Donegal in the national competition. Over the past few years the Poc Fada has grown and our Hurlers and Camogs are well able to compete.
