Bernard McGuinness retains final seat in north Inishowen

Bernard McGuinness has secured his seat in the new Carndonagh Electoral Area (north Inishowen) in the 2019 Local Elections.

The Fine Gael man was voted in on the sixth count with 1,448 votes.

McGuinness’s victory brings a conclusion to the count for north Inishowen.

All four councillors have been elected for the Carndonagh Electoral Area (north Inishowen)

They are as follows:

Martin McDermott (FF)

Martin Farren (Lab)

Bernard McGuinness (FG)

Albert Doherty (SF)
