Ireland has voted by a large majority to liberalise divorce laws with 82.07% support.
The Donegal electorate voted 77% Yes and 23% No to amend the constitution, with a 55.8% turnout.
The landslide passing of the Divorce Referendum will give the Oireachtas power to legislate on how long couples must be separated to get a divorce.

The government plans to bring the separation period down from four years to two years.
The Yes vote will also allow for laws to be made recognising foreign divorces.
