Four-timer for Browne-McMonagle at Carrickadawson

The Dylan Browne-McMonagle bandwagon just keeps on rolling when the 16-year-old racked up another four timer at Carrickadawson, Raphoe on Sunday.

Dylan got the day rolling in the opener in the 143cm pony race when Unhinged sluiced up by around 10 lengths.

He soon doubled up as the prolific Five Stone Of Lead made most of the running to land the 148cm in pretty ready fashion.

The Letterkenny jockey’s treble came when Athea Jade just keeps reeling back the years by taking the first divide of the ten furlong open in gutsy style.

His day got even better in the second divide as Ya Skitter put up top drawer performance swooping around the outside to soon put daylight between her and the rest of the field inside the the final furlong scoring by 6 lengths.

Mr Balboa for Co Cork jockey Daniel King was a most impressive winner of the 153cm and certainly looks one to follow in the weeks ahead.

King had another winner as Louis Vuitton was giving a most positive ride by making all to win the second divide of the mile open.

Philip Byrne from Co Limerick gave Stand By Me a very cool ride to take the 2mile open while jockey Connor Walsh made the long trip from Wexford worthwhile to get Call The Cops home in grand stand finish involving four horses separated by 1 Length.

Up and coming Co Meath Rider Ben Mulligan gave Movina’s Boy a peach of a ride to take the 12 furlong open and then Co Galway jockey Danny Gilligan took the concluding event of the evening on board Daithi’s Pride in bizzare circumstances but it certainly made his journey home all the sweeter.

Racing continues June Bank Holiday Monday at Dartfield Loughrea Co Galway Starting at 1.30pm.
