Killybegs to welcome first overnight cruise visit

Killybegs harbour will host its first overnight cruise ship visit this weekend when the MS AIDAaura comes to town.

Over 1,300 passengers from Germany will arrive in Donegal on Saturday 1st June at 2pm. The ship will stay at Killybegs on Saturday night before departure at 5pm on Sunday.

The 203m MS AIDAaura is operated by the German cruise line AIDA Cruise.

It is currently on a 12 day trip from Hamburg around the British Isles and Ireland.

The Killybegs community will welcome visitors with a Craft Fair on Saturday from 2.00pm and again on Sunday from 9.00am in the Bay View Hotel. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
