Investigation launched after Raphoe building damaged by fire

An investigation has been launched following a fire at a building in the village of Raphoe.

The building beside the Raphoe Library caught fire around 4am this morning and members of the local fire service attended.

Firemen managed to bring the blaze under control but considerable damaged was caused to the building at The Diamond.

Garda forensic investigators are at the scene and are assessing the cause of the fire.
