Gaoth Dobhair overcame St Eunan’s in an exciting Brian McCormick Sports Division One encounter at Magheragallon today.

Gaoth Dobhair 1-13 St Eunan’s 1-9

Jamie Doherty’s penalty had St Eunan’s ahead at 1-2 to 0-4 midway through the first half.

However, Eamonn Collum ensured that the lead lasted briefly as he fired over the leveller.

Earlier, Kevin Cassidy, Cian Mulligan (pictured) and Odhrán Mac Niallais posted scores for Gaoth Dobhair, with Conor Gibbons and Doherty on the mark for Eunan’s.

Gaoth Dobhair took control with Mulligan rattling the St Eunan’s net to put seven points between them.

Gaoth Dobhair widened the gap to nine with Mac Niallais on fire.

St Eunan’s came back, but Gaoth Dobhair had done enough to stave off their comeback.
