RYAN MCHUGH described yesterday’s win over Tyrone as ‘huge’ for Donegal.

A four-point win over their old foes fired Donegal back into the provincial final, where they’ll meet Cavan or Armagh in two weeks’ time.

“We always felt we’re a good side and were capable of beating Tyrone,” McHugh told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.

“Everyone stood up today and that showed.

“It was huge. You couldn’t name a bad performance in a Donegal jersey. We needed that today. Tyrone are a top side. Everyone was outstanding today. We take huge pride and privilege in being able to represent our county – and we showed that today.”
