Coyle suspended as Finn Harps look to halt Saints’ march

Mark Coyle will serve a suspension tomorrow night when Finn Harps head to Dublin for a meeting with St Patrick’s Athletic.

Ollie Horgan’s men have lost their last five games in all competitions and will be without Coyle for this week.

The midfielder has been handed an additional ban by the FAI’s disciplinary controls unit.

John Kavanagh, Michael Gallagher, Harry Ascroft and Ciaran Gallagher remain out through injury.

Horgan, however, does welcome Caolan McAleer and Sean Boyd back into the fold.

“We can’t go back and change what has happened over the last four games, but we have a chance now to turn things around against Pat’s tomorrow night,” Horgan said.

“That won’t be easy but the lads have to step and try it make it happen.

“We did draw up there in the early stages of the season and it would be great to repeat that result.

“We have the two-week break coming up after tomorrow night so it would be great if we could produce a performance that would give everyone at the club boost for the restart of the league at the end of the month.”
