Chloe and Sam Magee are through to the quarter-finals of the Spanish International after overcoming Rodion Kargaev and Olga Morozova.
The Raphoe pair saw off the Russians 21-13, 21-19 on Friday morning as they prepare for the European Games in Minsk, Belarus next week.
But the Irish number one pair will turn their attention to quarter-finals on later today against Scottish competitors Adam Hall and Julie Macpherson.
