A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Donegal as heavy downpours are set to strike the county.
Met Eireann has warned of a risk of localised flooding due in certain areas due to the incoming persistent rain.
There is the risk of heavy thundery downpours on Monday from 12pm to 4pm, especially over Munster and Leinster which may lead to spot flooding.
