Cathal Doherty Video Productions from Donegal has scooped the national title of Wedding Videographer of the year 2019.

With more than two decades of experience, Cathal Doherty has left many local couples with lasting happy memories of their big day. Those couples were eager to cast their votes for Cathal and his team this year in the Mrs2Be.ie Brides’ Choice Awards.

The winners were revealed yesterday in an exciting virtual awards ceremony.

Cathal Doherty Video Productions is based in Kilmacrennan and is made up of three creative videographers. They all have the same style of shooting which means no matter who is behind the camera the finished product is always of top quality.

Cathal is the founder of the business and has over 20 years of experience. Cathal was later joined by both his sons Keelan and Ryan, who both also play a very dominant role in the business.

Everyone at Cathal Doherty Video Productions is passionate about their work and strive to capture all those magic moments without people even realising they are there. From their many years of experience, they aim to make your day as easy going and as stress free as possible. (Click here to get a glimpse of their recent work)

On winning Wedding Videographer of the Year 2019, Cathal said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award. The fact that it is based on real couple reviews and not general public votes just tells us we are doing something right!

“We would like to thank each Bride and Groom over the years and especially those who took the time to review us for the award. Here’s to another busy year and we are looking forward to meeting all our upcoming couples”.

2019 is the sixth year of the Mrs2Be Brides’ Choice Awards and they’ve been very well received by the Irish wedding industry. Judged by both real brides and grooms and independent judges with industry knowledge, the awards recognise excellence within the wedding industry.
