Job Vacancy: Civil – Structural CAD Technician – Ballybofey, Co. Donegal
DSM Engineers are based in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal and provide consulting engineering services in the fields of Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
Due to the increased volume of work DSM Consulting Engineers are currently seeking a Civil – Structural Cad Technician to join our team.
The role will involve:
- Production of detailed high-quality CAD drawings / 3D Models and documentation for building projects.
- Co-ordination/liaison with other team members both internally and externally.
- Working on projects including Industrial / Commercial, Private Developments and Public Sector work.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- A relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction related discipline.
- Be proficient in the use of Autocad
- Working knowledge of 3D modelling software is preferred but training can be provided
- A good understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, Building Regulations and knowledge of products.
- Flexible and Enthusiastic.
- Able to prioritise with good organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
The candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience working closely with senior Engineers and to progress your career through further learning/CPD. Working hours are flexible and some site visits will be required
