FINN HARPS got a much-needed win last night against Sligo Rovers with Nathan Boyle scoring both in a 2-0 win over Sligo Rovers.

The Ballybofey side moved off the bottom of the table with the victory over their rivals. Manager Ollie Horgan stressed afterwards that his side have played better this season and got nothing.

“It’s important to score the first goal and Sligo had to come out in the second half and we managed to get a second goal on the break,” Horgan said. “We sent some sort of statement – we haven’t gone away.”
