Man pleads guilty to cannabis cultivation in Lifford

A 45-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the cultivation of cannabis in Lifford.

Eugene McCrossan pleaded guilty to the cultivation of cannabis without a license at Blacklands, Ballindrait, Lifford on July 5th, 2018.

McCrossan pleaded guilty when he was arraigned at Letterkenny Circuit Court yesterday.

Prosecution barrister Ms Patricia McLaughlin said the plea was being accepted on full facts being given at the accused man’s sentencing.

Judge John Aylmer agreed to a request for a psychiatric and psychological report on Mr McCrossan ahead of his sentencing in the November sitting of the court.

He was released on continuing bail.
