Met Eireann have warned Donegal showers on Sunday through to next week – with spot flooding in some areas.
The forecast comes just days after a yellow weather warning was issued for rain across the county.
On Sunday, heavy rain will move in from the Atlantic and become widespread into the afternoon and evening.
“Spot flooding is possible later, especially across the west and northwest. Feeling humid in a moderate to fresh southwest breezes,” Met Eireann said.
“On Sunday morning rain will spread across Ulster. It will extend to remaining areas in the afternoon and continue for the rest of the day. It will be heavy at times with a risk of localised flooding, especially in Ulster. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees with fresh southerly winds, strong on coasts.”
Monday will be a warm and humid day with long spells of sunshine with temperatures reaching up to 26 degrees – but showers will set in again from Tuesday in some parts.
