A strong finish from Termon took two precious points from Pairc Na nGael.

Naomh Columba 1-6 Termon 0-12

Naomh Columba started the brighter and were 1-4 to 0-2 at half time.

Caolan McDaid opened the score after 60 seconds before Ryan Gillespie goaled, as he gave Michael Boyle no chance.

Further points from Lanty Molloy, Ryan Gillespie, Fionn Gallagher and Michael McGuire put the home side in front at half-time.

In the second half Termon came out with four unanswered points – two apiece from Daire McDaid (pictured) and Aidan Sweeney.

But points from Declan McGuire and Gavin McGinley kept it a goal in it.

Then the drama unfolded. First a Termon penalty where Paddy Byrne made a great save to his left hand side from Daire McDaid.

But from the resulting 45 Daire McDaid pointed and it seemed to spark them into life with five unanswered scores, four from Daire McDaid, Ryan McFadden and sub Anthony Grant.
