Library services have been handed a major boost from the Department of Rural and Community Development and Donegal County Council (DCC).
Over €35,000 has been sanctioned by the government and DCC Under the Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2019.
The government department has provided more than €600,000 for marginalised, socially excluded and disadvantaged library service communities nationally.
It is understood that the Donegal County Council has granted €8,859 to the fund, while €26,578 has been contributed by the government.
