Gardaí are currently investigating an incident in Moville where a public bench was damaged and the footage shared online.
The incident occurred on Saturday the 20th July, when a number of men jumped on seating in a public area of the town.
The bench was smashed through and a video of the act was shared on social media.
Gardaí have confirmed that they have made contact with those believed to have been responsible.
The matter is currently under investigation.
