Cloughaneely Golf Club: Kevin Boyle impressively wins Sunday Competition

Last Sunday’s Competition was won by Kevin Boyle with a great score of 40pts. He’ll surely be a man to watch out for next week’s President’s Prize!

In second place was Michael Gibson off 11 with 35pts. CSS was 36pts. We had a great turnout for the Wednesday Open last week.

The winner on the day with a super score of 43pts was Brendan Rodgers. Playing off 19 Brendan had 9 pars in his round and is now off 17 handicap.

In second was Micheal O’Dwyer from Gaoth Dobhair who went round in 3 over par shooting 39pts. The steady Chris McCallion had 38pts. CSS was 37pts.

The Wednesday Open Singles Stableford continues weekly entry only €10pp for Visitors. There will be a 9 Hole Scramble this Friday 9th August draw at 6.15pm.

We have an Open Singles Stableford on Saturday and Sunday.  John McGinley’s 2019 Presidents Prizes takes place on Saturday 17th August.

There will be a Shoot-Out on Thursday 15th and a Scramble on Friday 16th August. More details to follow next week.

Our Junior Scratch Matchplay team travel away to Buncrana Golf Club this Saturday at 4pm in the return leg a tough task ahead to win matches away best of luck to them.
