Gardaí are investigating the theft and damage of a car which was parked outside Clonmany last week.

The car had been parked in the Gaddyduff area while the owner attended the Clonmany Festival on Thursday night last.

However, the black Skoda Superb was taken sometime after 9pm and driven away.

The car was found damaged at 6am the following morning on the Ballyliffin Road outside Carndonagh.

Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance with the investigation. If anyone saw the car (Skoda Superb, 10-DL reg) in the area that night or has any information, please contact Buncrana Garda Station on (074) 9320540.
