The community of Ballybofey and Stranorlar will be taking to the streets for a 5k run this Friday in support of a brave local mum.
The Igloo and Patton Frozen Foods store is hosting a family run/walk in aid of inspirational local woman Sonya Hamilton Mc Closkey.
Sonya (35) is a local mum of five who has benefited from huge levels of community support during her battle with cancer.
And there is a lot of anticipation for the next fundraising event, as individuals and families are invited to run or walk in a fun 5K on Friday 16th August.
The race begins at 7.30pm from Meenan’s corner, with registration open at Igloo until 7pm on the day.
It is a chipped event with some fantastic prizes but people of all ages and abilities are welcome.
