The official entry for this morning’s Donegal Half Marathon in Letterkenny was confirmed last evening at 490.

442 individuals and 13 relay teams (three people per team) have entered, meaning almost 500 will take part in the 2019 event.

Pictured are a couple from Canada, Drew Markham and Edwina Keats, who will compete today, picking up their numbers and race-packs earlier at the Aura Centre yesterday evening.

They have been on tour in Ireland and will take in the Donegal Half before competing in the Longford Marathon next weekend.

This morning’s race gets underway at 9.20 at Ballymacool and will finish at the track at the Aura Leisure Centre.
