Donegal is amongst the lowest spending counties across the country, new figures have revealed.
The figures come as AIB announced they had reached one million active mobile app customers this year.
The Irish bank, who released the app in 2011, had a look at exactly what people spend their money on across a variety of categories including dining out, memberships (including subscriptions), groceries and clothing.
And when it came to grocery shopping, the figures found that those from Wicklow spend the most on groceries per month (€275) while those from Donegal spend the least (€186).
Donegal was also amongst the lowest across the country for dining out (€64), with only Longford (€63), Kerry (€62), and Monaghan (€58) lower.
Meanwhile, the figures revealed that women spend an average of €119 on clothing per month, more than double what men spend (€59).
Families are spending the most per month (€127), while those classified as a youth (under 25) are spending the least (€64).
On average, Donegal spent €71 – the lowest again across the country.
When it came to subscriptions and memberships, Irish people are on average spending €12 a month, which equates to roughly one membership per person.
Those between the ages of 45-49 (€18) and 50-54 (€17) spend slightly more on membership and subscriptions.
However, the figures released on Monday showed that Donegal (€7) spent the least amount on memberships and subscriptions per month alongside Literem (€7) and Monaghan (€7).
The most charitable county in Ireland Clare, where the average person spends €6.64 a month on their chosen charity – 35% more than the second-most charitable county, Dublin, where people spend €4.32 a month.
Donegal, alongside Monaghan, however, turned out to be the least charitable county in Ireland.
The AIB figures revealed that Donegal users on average spend €2.24 per month on charitable causes, while Monaghan spends €2.23.
