Gardai are investigating a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries across the county in recent days.

The first happened at C and J Meats in Lifford on August 14th when three men attempted to use a crowbar to break into the premises.

Despite gaining entry, the masked gang fled empty-handed.

On Friday, August 16 between 11.30am and midday another burglary took place in Convoy.

A neighbour spotted the men at the back of the house

The alarm was raised but the men had fled.
The owners returned to find the house ransacked.

Another burglary took place in Burt on Sunday, August 18 between 1.30pm and 4.15pm.

A sitting room window was smashed and again the house was ransacked.

Anybody with any information on any of these burglaries is asked to contact any Garda station.
