Members of the Sheephaven SAC took time on Sunday last to remove three bags of rubbish from the shoreline in west Donegal.
An initiative from the team at the remote Tramore beach proved to be a huge success as they asked beach users to pick up at least one piece of litter on their walk and put it in the big bins.
However, a few gullies that cannot be accessed by land were cleaned on Sunday morning last.
The Sheephaven divers snorkelled into one and removed three bags of rubbish from the shoreline, the vast majority of which was unsurprisingly plastic.
The Donegal County Council placed on record their thanks to the diving team.
