FINN HARPS manager Ollie Horgan says his men must make home advantage count in their relegation battle.
Harps have three home games left in the Premier Division season, the first of which takes place tonight when St Patrick’s Athletic visit Finn Park, with UCD and Waterford also due in Ballybofey.
Harps have a six-point cushion on UCD and are in a play-off spot at the moment.
“We have three home games that we need to get something out of,” Horgan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub this week.
“It has been a tough year, without doubt. We’re used to it. The players who have been here are used to it.
“The players who have come in, we warned them that it would be full of ups and downs and that’s exactly what they’ve got.”
“It will be a battle right to the end. UCD certainly haven’t gone away and they’ll get a boost out of a change of manager.”
St Pat’s are also in a transition as the Inchicore side saw Harry Kenny resign as manager last weekend and Horgan is wary of the Saints, who lost to UCD in the FAI Cup last Friday.
Horgan said: “With Harry stepping down it might be all over the place and we might struggle to get it right, formation and personnel-wise. ”
