MYA ALCORN was a try scorer today as Ireland won two of their three games at the Rugby Europe Under-18 Women’s Sevens Championship.

Ireland defeated Georgia and Latvia before losing to Scotland in their third match in Jarocin, Poland.

Letterkenny and Ulster player Alcorn (above, number 4) got over the line in Ireland’s 52-0 win over Georgia with Kate Farrell-McCabe and Béibhinn Parsons also getting tries.

Ireland overcame Latvia 34-5, but were beaten 34-12 by Scotland in their third game today.

This is the final competition for the Ireland U-18 Sevens squad this season and forms part of the Women’s Sevens Development pathway for this group.
