Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating an attempted break-in to a house in The Gardens in Ballymacool.
The attempt was made between 9pm on August 28th and 10.30am on August 29thth last.
A screwdriver was left in the back-door lock of the house while the door frame was also interfered with.
Gardai in Letterkenny on 074 9167100 would like to hear from anybody who may have seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
