A major power outage has struck Letterkenny and surrounding areas of Donegal this Friday afternoon.
Homes and businesses in the centre of the town lost electricity supply after 12noon in an unexpected outage.
Properties on Main Street, Port Road and surrounding areas of Letterkenny have been affected.
There are reports of the outage spanning across the Finn Valley, Milford, Newtowncunningham and Fanad.
Power was restored in Letterkenny at around 12.30pm.
