In a lively game on the Astro in the Letterkenny Community Centre Raphoe Town ran out winners of the U16 Shield.

After a tightly fought first half with both keepers Tianna Hannigan and Amy Doherty called into action, Gabrielle O Donnell and Emma Gribben had good chances for Lagan.
Codie Walsh bagged the only goal of the half just on the stroke of half time.
Shortly after the re-start a mix-up in the Lagan defence left Walsh in again to shoot from close range.
Amy Quigley and Rebecca McColgan extended the lead for Raphoe with Walsh getting her hat trick late in the game.
