Twin Towns pair set for National Novice Championships

TWIN TOWNS duo PJ Kelly and Jonathan Lodder are set to take part in the 2019 National Novice Championships.

The draw for the Championships was revised today.

Middleweight Kelly will face Nathan Flynn in a preliminary round bout on Friday night.

The winner will take on the victory from another middleweight preliminary contest between David Clyne (Maynooth) and James Finney (Mount Tallant).

Also on Friday night, Lodder takes on Ballybrack’s Larry Redmond in an 81kgs quarter-final.

Boxing begins at 7pm this Friday evening and a second session will be decided on Saturday afternoon.
