One of Buncrana’s most popular figures was celebrated last weekend as Mrs Maureen Farren marked her 100th Birthday.
Maureen is a long-standing resident of Grianan Park and a mother of four to Charlie, Bethan, Anne and Bridgeen.
Friends and family turned out to celebrate the special day with a birthday tea at the Lake of Shadows Hotel in the Inishowen town.
The Buncrana parish also marked Mrs Farren birthday with a papal blessing and a Benemerenti medal at the 9am mass on Sunday last.
