Busy Saturday scheduled for Donegal Novices

THERE ARE 21 bouts slated for the Donegal Novice Championships tomorrow.

The contests are matched at Boy 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and Girl 3 grades with action getting underway at the Letterkenny Boxing Club gym from 11.30am.

Boxers from Donegal and Tyrone will take part, including Taylor McCallion and Tom Devine from Donegal’s newest boxing club, Lifford.

The Lifford Boxing Club is under the direction of Ballindrait’s Dennis Lafferty, who fought in three Ulster finals in the vest of Raphoe ABC.
