North West Simon Community Annual Sleep Out is taking place on Friday, October 4th in Letterkenny’s Market Square.

The event is an excellent opportunity for the Community of Donegal to come together to take their ‘Step for Simon’.

The Annual Sleep Out helps to create much-needed awareness of the North West Simon Community and raise vital funds in order to prevent and resolve homelessness across the region.

A spokesperson from North West Simon Community said: “It is only with the support of people like you, that we can continue to close the door on homelessness in the North West. We would like to sincerely thank the people from Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo for your generosity and solidarity and for the positive impact that you have made on people’s lives locally.”

North West Simon Community also thanked all those who have already signed up to take part to include: AIB Letterkenny, United Health Care, Food for Thought, Buncrana, Crana Stables, Buncrana, Menarys, Greenes Shoes and the many individuals who will swap their beds for sleeping bags for one night only, in solidarity for those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
