Vandals have attacked a stone picnic bench at Horn Head outside Dunfanaghy.

This is the second attack on the scenic bench in less than a year.

The bench, which was funded by the local Tidy Towns committee, was first attacked in December of last year.

The picnic bench was restored but vandals have struck again in recent weeks.

Gardai have appealed to anybody who has information about the attacks to contact them.

They also directly appealed to the vandals to desist from their attacks.
