Donegal is set to be lashed by Storm Lorenzo later today as the ex-hurricane is poised to track over the county.
The latest reports from Met Eireann warn that the eye of the storm will move onto the northwest coast this evening.
Gale force winds, severe gusts and downpours are all expected when the storm strikes.
Two Status Yellow warnings are in place for Donegal this evening – a wind warning until 6pm and a rain warning is in effect until 6am on Friday.
Heavy rain will result in flooding, forecasters warn.
