Letterkenny suffered a major power fault this evening (Sat) leaving more than 3000 people without power.
Areas in the outskirts of the Donegal town were also believed to be affected.
The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) responded to the incident to repair the issue, with the interruption solved shortly before 5pm on Saturday.
ESB apologised for the loss of supply following the short blackout.
