Students at Coláiste Ailigh were delighted with their Junior Certificate results on Friday last.

More than 2,300 teenagers in Donegal received their Junior Certificate results last week.

Exam results were given out in schools across the county, three weeks later than originally anticipated.

The results were due to be out in mid-September, but delays with the State Examinations Commission over the Leaving Certificate Appeals timeframe has impacted the date this year.
