Watch: Harvey’s Point Wedding Fair celebrates love and hospitality at Lough Eske

written by Rachel McLaughlin October 7, 2019

The world-famous hospitality of Harvey’s Point was particularly strong on Saturday at the hotel hosted its autumn wedding fair.

A large crowd was warmly welcomed to the Donegal hotel for a showcase of the grounds, food, facilities and all that the luxury lakeside venue has to offer.

Guests took the opportunity to browse around a wide range of quality wedding suppliers and enjoy the idyllic setting and hospitality that Harvey’s Point is best-known for.

General Manager Noel Cunningham, Wedding Coordinators Samantha McNulty and Michael Brennan and the entire culinary and banqueting team were delighted to meet so many couples, friends and families and answer their questions about weddings at Harvey’s Point.

In this video, they explain what sets them apart when it comes to weddings and special events:

The wedding fair and exhibitors were spread throughout the Garden Suite and the Ballroom, but as beautiful as the ballroom is, it won’t be looking like it does for very long.

The suite, which boasts stunning panoramic views, will soon be completely redeveloped. Couples who book their future weddings at Harvey’s Point can look forward to celebrating in brand new surroundings.

Noel gave guests a hint of what to expect from the ballroom makeover: “It will be elegant, with a little bit of bling, and it will look absolutely gorgeous. We felt that after 30 years of many happy weddings and fabulous occasions, that it was time to give the ballroom a little revamp and a facelift. The plans for it are absolutely beautiful and we are starting the story in a week’s time.”

Whether it’s an intimate celebration, a civil ceremony, a humanist ceremony or a grand affair, the wedding team are always delighted to help people plan their love story at Lough Eske. As Ireland’s Number One hotel, Harvey’s brings food, service and hospitality to another level.
