There is a happy ending to the tail of a little dog who was at the heart of his own Paw Patrol drama in Letterkenny Garda Station.

An appeal was launched this morning after a dog decided to em-bark on a new career and join the Letterkenny gardaí.

The lost pup was allowed to stay in the barracks overnight, but gardaí were recluctant to collar him so they launched a search to fetch the owner.

It took just a few hours for the story to come to a furtunate end. The owner has been found through social media and the dog will soon be happily patrolling his own home again.
