Donegal jockey bags 95/1 double at Dundalk

DONEGAL JOCKEY Oisin Orr rode a superb 95/1 double at Dundalk this evening.

The Rathmullan man was back in the winners’ enclosure with two excellent wins for Edward Lynam.

First, Orr took 11/1 shot Masalai to victory.

At the end of the seven furlongs, Orr was half-a-length ahead of 4/1 favourite Khafaaq.

Orr edged in front towards the end of the race and was able to hold on for his 41st win of 2019.

Orr then got aboard Benedict Roezel, sent off at 7/1, and he took a win by a similar margin, again staving off the pre-race favourite, in this instance the 11/8 USA mount Fujaira King.
