LyIT lose out to Jordanstown in latest Ryan Cup outing

ULSTER University, Jordanstown were too strong for Letterkenny Institute of Technology last night in the Ryan Cup.

UU had six points to spare on a night when LyIT gave a good account of themselves.

Michael Langan (pictured) hit six points for Michael Murphy’s team, who were 2-5 to 0-6 behind at the break.

The third UU goal came late in the game.

LyIT have little time to get ready for their next assignment as they are back to Belfast on Wednesday afternoon to face St Mary’s.

Letterkenny Institute of Technology scorers: Michael Langan 0-6, Paddy Dolan 0-3, Darragh Black 0-2, Joe McGill, Ryan McFadden, Caoimhin Marley 0-1 each
