The following is the community news and notes from Ray.

DRUMHALLA SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL

St. Garvan’s School Drumhalla are now recycling some items that are not normally recycled. This helps our environment, and helps educate our children and their families of the importance of recycling and have begun recycling Crisp Bags & Biscuit packaging. We have partnered up with Drumhalla School and thanks to Sharkey’s Waste, they have delivered A Bin to Ray Community Centre. All ready now for recycling Crisp Bags and Biscuit Wrappers This bin will hold a huge amount of recycling, so please please get recycling your Crisp Bags and Biscuit wrappers with us.

COMMUNITY RECYCLING INITIATIVE

Thanks to Pauric Mc garvey in Kernans Ramelton who has kindly extended their recycling initiative to the end of October, We are asking the Donegal community to Donate any Unwanted Clothes To Your Local Kernans To Help Support the Ray Community Group   All proceeds from the Community Recycling Initiative of unwanted clothes will go to the Ray Community Centre. All you have to do is to fill as many bags of clothing, shoes, handbags and sheets as possible and bring them to one of the clothes banks located outside Kernan’s stores all across Donegal with the nearest one at Moorfield, Ramelton. So clear out your drawers, recycle, and support a great cause all in one. You can drop off your bags to our centre or if you have lots bags we are happy to call yours and collect.
