A leading Letterkenny hairdressing salon has announced it is to close its doors.
The Edge Hairdressing Salon has been a hugely-popular salon for almost 20 years.
But a Facebook post from its owners said the salon will be closing shortly.
The post said “It is with the greatest sadness and a heavy heart that I must let you all know that due to personal reasons and others beyond my control that we will be closing our doors on the 2nd of November 2019.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you….. our amazing team members, our loyal clients and many more who have contributed to our business in any way throughout our 17 yrs in business here in Letterkenny to us alot of you felt like our family you all know who you are.
“Thank you for all the memories, the uncontrollable laughter and sometimes even the tears we looked forward to each and every one of you coming through that door. We will be eternally grateful for your continued support and we will never ever forget it”
Owner Jacqui Davenport said she will continue to look after her clients privately.
The salon has also asked anyone with gift vouchers or future bookings to get in touch and they will be honoured.
