Gardaí have confirmed they are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred just outside Carndonagh yesterday evening (Weds).
It is understood that the accident occurred at approximately 7:20pm on Wednesday evening.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided with a deer, however, upon arrival no deer was present.
No offence disclosed and no injuries sustained.
Gardaí enquires are continuing.
