Two homes near the Mountain Top area of Letterkenny were ransacked last Friday evening.

Money was stolen from both properties at Ashfield after thieves broke their way in through the rear patio doors.

The suspects searched through the upstairs areas of both homes, causing a significant amount of disruption. They managed to steal cash from both homes.

Gardaí are currently investigating the burglaries and appealing to anyone with any information to get in contact with Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
