Pictured are the seven girls ae who took part in their first Rugby blitz at U-12 level for Finn Valley Rugby Club in Randalstown recently.
Most of them didn’t know what a scum was six weeks ago!
Not only did they take part, but in three matches they narrowly lost the first one 6-5 to Ballymoney, drew the second match 5-5 with Ballymena and triumphed 6-4 against Banbridge in the final match.
Believe it or not, they wanted to play more after that. Definitly a team to watch for the future.
Rugby for all as well as beginners are on Saturday morning at the Finn Valley centre Stranorlar.
